Raspberry Pi in the car
Once upon a time, the Raspberry Pi could be perfectly used as an AirPlay receiver in a car, but with the release of iOS 8 — everything broke (well, not “everything”, but mirroring broke).
Struggled with RPlay — a “raw” thing that lags and crashes regularly.
Looks like I’ll have to install an Apple TV with 12V power supply and an HDMI → RCA converter. All because of changes in the proprietary AirPlay protocol.
On the other hand — everyone wants to make money, and Apple does sell TV set-top boxes :)
